We are a diverse, inclusive, cultural, group of professional cooks within a commercial kitchen.
We apply a Person Centred approach allowing participants control of what they cook, prepare and eat.
Carers and support workers are welcome to stay, while participants create a meal to serve or take home.*

To support our participants we offer an Outings and Events Calendar that they may attend once a month or as arranged
* Carers and support workers are asked to contribute a small fee for the food they consume.
At Cook and Create at Kodak we Offer
Weekly Workshops may Include
- One on One inclusive cooking with participant
- Writing skills and recipe understanding
- Include food preparation
- Cooking on commercial kitchen equipment
- Serving and portion guidance
- Social contact and interactions with other participants, staff, and support workers
- Independent living skills
- Budgeting (cost to make each meal)
- Practice food prep, food storage and food equipment use
- Supervised safety in the kitchen
- Assistive utensils (handled knifes, weighted bowls, one handed cutting solution, non-slip cutting board)
- Hygiene practices in place
- Cultural diversity and exploration of choice through food prep and cooking
